Dan Walkow is the founding partner and Managing Director of Seabank Capital Management
Inc. Registered as an Investment Advisor in 1979 with the investment firm Pitfield Mackay
Ross Ltd., Dan went on to become a Vice-President and Branch Manager for RBC Dominion
Securities and BMO Nesbitt Burns, two of Canada's leading broker/dealers, through to 2002.
During his tenure with the above noted firms Dan managed various branches across Western
Canada in his capacity as Vice-President and Branch Manager, while advising investors and
managing client assets in both Canada and the United States.
A graduate of Notre Dame of Canada, Dan went on to complete his Bachelor of Commerce
(Finance) at the University of Saskatchewan in 1977. Along with numerous investment
industry courses and certifications, Dan earned his Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA)
designation in 1994 from the CFA Institute of Charlottesville, Virginia and his Chartered
Market Technicians (CMT) certification from the Market Technicians Association
headquartered in New York. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI).
Dan has served as a regional representative for the Canadian Investment Dealers Association
and was the founding member of the British Columbia chapter of the Canadian Society of
Technical Analysts where he served on the national board of directors.
A member of the CFA Institute, Dan is also a member of the Vancouver Society for Financial
Analysts, the Market Technicians Association and the Canadian Society of Technical Analysts.
As Managing Director of Seabank Capital Management Inc. Dan is responsible for the overall
direction and management of the firm and, in addition, acts as the firm's Compliance Officer.
Dan lives in White Rock, British Columbia with his wife and four children.

After graduating from Simon Fraser University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Business
Administration majoring in Finance, AJ began his career in the investment industry with
Altamira Investment Services Inc. as a client service officer. The following year AJ joined the
Bank of Montreal as a Financial Services Manager and was subsequently recruited by BMO
Nesbitt Burns as Branch Operations Manager and Investment Representative.
AJ earned his Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute of
Charlottesville, Virginia in 2001.
Joining Seabank Capital Management Inc. as a Portfolio Manager in 2003, AJ went on to
complete his MBA at Simon Fraser University specializing in Global Asset and Wealth
Management.
Currently AJ is a Level III candidate for the Chartered Market Technicians designation as
offered by the Market Technicians Association of New Jersey.
He is a member of the CFA Institute, the Vancouver Society of Financial Analysts, the
Market Technicians Association as well as the Fraser Valley Estate Planning Council.
AJ was selected by Simon Fraser University to provide an ongoing series of seminars on
retirement planning and investment management to retiring professionals of Simon Fraser
University.
He resides in Surrey, British Columbia with his wife and three children.
Paul Bains, MBA (Finance), CFP, CIM

Paul began his career in the investment business with the investment dealer Midland Walwyn
in 1993 as an Investment Advisor. Over the succeeding years Paul took on roles with HSBC
Bank as Manager of Investment Services and BMO Nesbitt Burns as an Investment Advisor.
Paul joined Seabank Capital Management Inc. in 2006 as an Associate Portfolio Manager after
tenure with MD Management Inc. where he was a Financial Consultant specializing in financial
planning and asset management services for professionals in the medical community.
A Chartered Financial Planner (CFP) as well as a Certified Investment Manager (CIM), Paul
received his Masters in Business Administration from the Edinburgh Graduate School of
Business. His specialization was Finance and Risk Management.
Paul is a member of the CFA Institute, where he is a Level II candidate, the Vancouver Society
for Financial Analysts and the Financial Planners Standards Council.
Actively involved with local charities, Paul volunteers his time to the BC Lions Society and
the United Way of the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. He is also a CSA nationally
certified soccer coach working with several youth groups in the community.
Paul lives in Surrey, British Columbia with his wife and three children.
