Seabank Capital Management Inc. was formed in 2002 and was the outgrowth of the investment management practise of its founder Daniel G. Walkow, CFA, CMT, who started his investment management career in 1979 as a Canadian Investment Advisor with the firm of Pitfield Mackay Ross Ltd.
After 25 years as an Investment Advisor, Portfolio Manager, Branch Manager and Vice-President with two of Canada's most prestigious brokerage firms, RBC Dominion Securities and BMO Nesbitt Burns, Walkow formed Seabank Capital with a view to focusing on independent fee-only investment management.
Today, Seabank Capital is a Registered Portfolio Manager in Canada and a Registered Investment Advisor in the United States with clients across North America. Independent and fee based, Seabank Capital offers global investment credentials with decades of experience with resources and capablities in both Canada and the United States.
Partnering with major institutions across North America who provide back office, administrative, research and trading functions allows Seabank Capital to retain its independence and concentrate on investment management on behalf of clients.
